We continue to strive by providing services to the community of Erie

Afterschool Programs

Booker T. Washington Community Center currently provide programming year round youth.  We serve nearly 175 students on a daily basis throughout the school year.  

Program Growth

Growth provides opportunity and education for our youth and community

Youth Participation

Summer Program

Youth participate in summer education, activities that focus on strengthening academic skills, physical activity, and numerous recreational activities, such as arts & crafts, computers, sports, and weekly field trips to various community destinations and events. The program is offered Monday-Friday 8:30 – 4:00 PM for 6 – 8 weeks. Registration is required.

Baby Boomers

The Baby Boomers meet weekly. Activities include a weekly luncheon, recreation activities, health and nutritional education, and community outings. Boomers are actively involved with the planning of their weekly luncheons, and through BTWC’s partnership with several organizations, Boomers receive educational sessions on many topics, such as health, finances, and engaging in a healthy lifestyle.
